I’ve been swamped up to my armpits in wholesale orders and even though it’s a great feeling and I love it, it feels like all I ever do is sew. I need to find time to do other things like drawing, designing and being creative.
I think it’s gotten to the point where I have to either hire a sewer or teach Kevin how to do it…ummm, I’m leaning towards hiring a sewer. ;)

The “Toronto Craft Alert”:http://torontocraftalert.blogspot.com is a new blog for those of you who live in or around Toronto (aka the GTA, T-dot, or the 416). It’s a great way for craftsters in the area to keep in the loop about upcoming sales, events and art shows.
Best of all, it’s run by my crafty pal Jen Anisef!
I think that I’m going to make myself a little mini placemat/computer mat (for under my laptop) out of this array of pink fabric:

I’d be making it mostly for practice though, I’m planning to make a king-size quilt this summer, and I need to work on my quilting skillz.

Scallops of fabric in shades of aqua, turquoise and lime. A extemely rough idea that I’m not 100% sure I like. I’m not sure it’s my style…

Kevin has informed me that the “RSS Feed(My RSS Feed)”:http://karissacove.com/feed for my website is fixed, if you’ve been having problems with it.
I didn’t even know it was broken, he’s keeping secrets from me!
