Hi Everybody,
Just a quick note to let you all know that tomorrow I will be at Canzine, Canada’s Largest Zine Fair.
Canzine runs on October 29, 2006 from 1-7pm at The Gladstone Hotel 1214 Queen St. West (Queen just East of Dufferin), Toronto, Ontario. There is $5 admission fee which includes the latest issue of Broken Pencil.
I will there selling my brand new Critter Charms, Apple Scarves and Heart Totes, as well as some older favourites. Please stop by and say ‘Hi’!
See you tomorrow!
I spent the weekend recharging the batteries, and today I worked nonstop on “the knitting purse”:http://karissacove.com/journal/category/the-knitters-purse/ — I made a lot of progress, too!
I forget some times how important it is to take breaks, and I really needed the time I took just to feel like I could tackle everything that needs to be done.
Lots of updates tomorrow!

Kevin has informed me that the “RSS Feed(My RSS Feed)”:http://karissacove.com/feed for my website is fixed, if you’ve been having problems with it.
I didn’t even know it was broken, he’s keeping secrets from me!

Hello everybody,
Doesn’t it look different around here? Welcome to part one of my new website, and the beginning of a fresh start for me. When I wrote about getting back-to-basics, this is what I was planning to do, chop down my website and my business and build it up again from scratch.
I love being crafty, it’s my favourite thing in the entire world, and I want to share that feeling instead of keeping it all bottled up. When Kevin (my main squeeze and partner) and I went back to the drawing board, the thing I wanted most was to be able to share all the crafty things I do, and show everyone else how to do them as well.
The first thing I’m going to do on the site, while the rest of it is being built, is document the process of making my next project, a purse made especially for knitters! This is something I’ve wanted for make forever, ever since I picked up needles, and I’ve got a tonne of ideas to work with.
The website’s going to be changing a lot over the next few weeks, as well, there’s a new shop on the way and I’ve got plenty of other crafty tricks up my sleeve. I feel so happy right now, I love my new website!
“The Spring Cleaning Sale”:http://karissacove.com/shop will be ending this Saturday, I’m just about out of stock (Yay!).
Now I’d rather mail out all the totes and iPod slippers at super great prices than pack them away, so starting right now until this Saturday April 8th @ Noon, all of the remaining sale items in my shop will be an additional 25-40% off! That there’s some big savings, folks!
Don’t make me store these purses in the back of my closet, they’ll be so sad!
