July 20th, 2006 Slouchy

I finally had some success making a “slouchy” purse, I’ve been trying for a while and could never get it right! I think it was the beads that helped me the most.

I’ve put two slouchers on Etsy, take a look:

Your purses are amazing, I would like to learn how to make purses, do you train others? Let me know…you can contact via e-mail or my blog.
    Keep up the good work.

Had to buy the blue one. Would you believe I did carry a purse before I bought my first 3 from you? Thanks for making me lady-like =]

PS. nothing I sew ever looks presentable, but I’m working on it!

hi Cathy: Thanks for the compliments! Sewing is something that I LOVE to do, however teaching it is a whole other game! If you are interested in learning how to sew, you should go to your local fabric shop and inquire there about classes. There are a lot of sewing tutorial books out as well…Wendy Mullins of Built by Wendy just published one, check amazon.com for details.

Hi Chali: You’re the best! Best of luck with your sewing adventures!
