This was my idea right from the start, and almost exactly like the the design I used for my “first ever knitting purse”:http://karissacove.com/journal/2006/04/18/past-experience/ for my friend Katie. The only difference is the wording — I’m not sure what to use: “I (heart) Knitting” or “I (heart) to Knit”. It would probably depend on how I put the words on the purse.
My concern with this design is that it may be a bit too bold — people may not want to wear a purse with a big message on it. I mean, I tell everybody how much I love knitting, but do the majority of knitters?

Sure, I love to knit even though I’m horrible at it. I think crocheting was invented for people who can’t knit :)
In the summer, I sneak my bunny places in book bags I whip up with my mini (and only) sewing machine. I think it’d be wild to have a bag that says “I (heart) my bunny”., but then I couldn’t really sneak him around!

I think a lot of knitters would like it! I only just started knitting, but I was planning on making a knitting bag for my grandma. I came up with a design that said “I ? knitting” to screenprint on. I think your style in colourful and fun so I’m sure that people will love it, although of course people have different tastes ;)
