I tested out “my rough sketches”:http://karissacove.com/journal/2006/04/13/rough-sketches/ and made the first prototype — Don’t mind the colour combo, I just used some scrap fabric I had hanging around:

I ended up moving the needles to the side panel and added two extra pockets, for those on-the-go knitters who need a cubby for their iPod and cell phone. Here’s some photos of the inside:

I could tell even as I was sewing it, this purse is just TOO BIG:

The main problem is that I want a way to bring along needles — I guess I’ll just have to brainstorm some more ideas to accomodate their length, because the purse has to lose some bulk.

Hi Janet,
Thanks for your email!
I make all of my items in big batches and unfortunatley can’t fill any customs orders.
Take care!

This purse could easily be put to good use by non-knitters as well! There are pockets of all sizes that also fit iPods, cell phones, other tech gadgets plus a few big pockets that would fit magazines. And you could use the little yarn holder tabs for your earphone wire! It’s super functional for everybody.
