The past few days I have been busily sewing away on these little cuties!

I will be selling them this Sunday at Canzine in Toronto! (more details to come.)

The moment I spied this vintage “Learning to Knit” booklet at a local charity shop my heart skipped. I immediately fell madly in love with the retro font and the colourful balls of yarn magically suspended in air. There is something so precious and endearing about vintage craft books that always makes me feel inspired.

My family got together for a festive Thanksgiving feast this weekend at my Aunt & Uncle’s cottage on Lake Erie, where we enjoyed roasted turkey with all the trimmings, apple and pumpkin pies, and homemade wine.

The beautiful warm fall weather kept the Lake warm enough to go wading. It was impossible to resist, especially since it’s probably the last time to enjoy the water until next summer.

I hope everyone had a beautiful Thanksgiving, and will be able to have a little bit of respite before the whirlwind of Christmas strikes!
Over the past couple weeks I’ve become totally mesmerized by all the wonders of Flickr — I swear, I could spend hours on there, pouring over all the photos of plushies, toys, fabrics, yarn, Hello Kitty — The list goes on and on…
I’m also posting my own photos that don’t necessarily make it on to this site, like this one of some Black + White Mod fabric I bought:
(I guess it’s on my site now!)
I’ve joined a couple groups, and one of my favourites is “Wardrobe Remix”:http://www.flickr.com/groups/wardrobe_remix/, where you post photos of whatever you’re wearing that day — I love it! Total heaven.
